The Leeds and Reading Festival is a duo of yearly music festival that takes place each and every year in Leeds and Reading in the United Kingdom. The festival is run and organized by Festival Republic. The events of the festival take place on 3 consecutive days of the month of august. Generally the festival is organized on a bank holiday or a weekend of the month of august. During the years 1998-2006 the twin festivals were officially termed as “Carling Weekend“, till the company carling stopped sponsoring the festival. Carling backed off his name from being the official sponsors of the festival in November 2007.
